A winter festival needed an identity that works in the dark: on screens, on lightboxes and on the streets of a small northern town. The idea was a typographic system that behaves like light itself, stretching and contracting across formats.

The system rolled out across posters, a festival website, wayfinding and social content, built from one variable grid and a single accent colour.

Detail

The logotype stretches with the length of the night. A typographic system that grows from December to February.

“Elsa gave the festival a voice that is both calm and loud. It works on a poster and on a facade.”
